Rachel and I went and saw Twilight a few weeks ago, I really liked it and so did she (even though she had read the book and was apprehensive thinking that the movie might not be that good). We had done a little shopping earlier and had a good girls night together. Thankfully gas prices have decreased enough that I am not avoiding driving at all costs. It's amazing how much of a homebody I have become (well, scrapbooking addict)!! I miss traveling around and visiting with all of my loved ones as often as I used to, so even though they say drastically decreasing prices aren't good, it's good for me!

November Musings

Loved the beautiful warm weather we had at the beginning of the month but have equally enjoyed the first snowfall recently. The change of seasons is amazing in nature and it's funny that we sometimes seem to pay more attention to the weather than to ourselves. Our lives are subject to change at any moment and we take it so for granted, or at least I do. Recognizing this in myself I hope to make changes for the better. The dreams of my youth seemed to be long lost and forgotten in the daily toll of working for the man. I have recently felt the push to do something different, something better, more meaningful and hopefully much more rewarding. So we'll see how quickly I can manifest this change in myself and my life. As quickly as we can go from sunny summer days, to chilly fall nights and snowy winter months so to can we make a choice to be the best possible version of ourselves.
